Our roots are here in North Stanwood, Washington.

Meet your local farm

It started with beef
for family and friends.

We began raising cattle in North Stanwood in 2017 with a simple goal: raise beef we would be proud to put on our own table.

Today, Stanwood Cattle Company offers grass-fed Black Angus beef directly to local households. We care about our cattle, our pastures, and making it easier to buy beef from a farm you know.

Before you reserve

A few good
questions.

We want you to understand your share before you order.

Is the deposit the full price?

No. Your non-refundable deposit reserves your share. The final total is based on actual hanging weight, and the remaining balance is invoiced separately. See your share's product page for its current estimate and terms.

What does hanging weight mean?

Hanging weight is the carcass weight after harvest and before aging and cutting. Your packaged take-home beef weighs less because of moisture loss, trimming and bones. Share weights and cut quantities are estimates.

Which share should I choose?

Consider your household's beef use, budget and available freezer space. An eighth is our smallest share; quarters, halves and whole beef suit larger needs. Contact us if you would like help comparing the options.

When will my beef be ready?

Our next processing is planned for November. Processing and pickup dates are confirmed directly with each customer. A reservation is not a promise of a specific pickup or delivery day.

Can I pick up or request delivery?

Farm pickup is at 7611 227th PL NW, Stanwood, WA 98292, by arrangement. Local delivery is available within two hours one way, excluding traffic. Enter your full delivery address at checkout to calculate the charge automatically: round-trip diesel at 10 MPG using the current AAA Seattle rate, plus $30 per hour of round-trip driving. Delivery is charged at checkout, in addition to your purchase or reservation deposit. We confirm the delivery date separately.

How do I hear about the next processing?
